Christopher Joyce was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He received a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1989. His art has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is held in a variety of private, corporate and public collections.

Christopher Joyce works in a variety of medium, and brings to each a passion of exploration as well as a mastery of technique. He creates fine art, furniture and accessories, as well as designs interiors.

In 1998 Christopher Joyce won the Prominence of Design Award of the Atlantic Craft Awards for Excellence, and in December 2006, House and Home Magazine ranked him as one of the top twenty up and coming designers in the country.
